On my way home today I bought this bottle of apple-pear juice (in my everlasting search for a healthy drink with a nice taste), nothing special and who cares.. I know, but read the label..
Cracked me up Wish more companies would do this, gives you an extra reason to get one of these bottles (kind of like a happy meal .. but then for drinks).
Well I was going through some of my old files today and I bumped into a complete backup of a hosting site I used to own together with a friend of mine, CrystalCore! Including in the backup was the very first CMS I ever made, looking back at it now it looks extremely poor, though in my head it always looked a lot better, anyway it’s not to be compared to anything you see these days.
Screenshots of the CMS
And screenshots of the frontend site of what CrystalCore used to be .. *sniff*.. I really enjoyed working on that site
This was all done by me, my friend took care of the technical side of business, eg. the servers and client management.
Keep in mind that my experience level was a lot lower compared to what it is now
Ok I really wonder sometimes, do people know what Beta means? I mean, I know Google and companies of the like have been abusing the name Beta lately, but come on people, it’s not just a word that makes a program look sparkly!
Beta MEANS the software is NOT FINNISHED and is ONLY to be used for testing and development!
I say this because lately I’ve had a lot of people asking for support for the NotifyMe plugin, saying their database of an amount of users WAY larger than what is responsible to be managed by beta software.
I am very honest about my plugins, useronline and pageactivity at this point are solid plugins who might have a bug here and there but they work! NotifyMe is NOT a solid plugin! It is Beta and I do NOT recommed anyone using it for any purposes other than testing or development!
So if you are using NotifyMe on your website with a large user database, please do yourself a favour and switch to another plugin, NotifyMe has a very usefull import and export feature so it won’t be hard, just wait untill a full version is released, and then start using it for real.
I just bumped into this video on a dutch video posting website, it’s a scene from the movie Clerks 2, one hillarious movie, they should make more movies like it.
If you haven’t seen LOTR or Star-Wars (like my girlfriend) your not gonna find this funny (and you are seriously missing out on some vital culture)
Hi, as you can see I started a new blog, at the moment it’s still using wordpress as my CMS still needs a lot of work and I don’t wanna get ahead of myself.
This blog won’t be like my old one though, it’s going to be a lot more tech-oriented. You’ll be able to find info about the development of Divia CMS, and basically all kinds of resources, ubuntu linux, photoshop, php.. everything I’m interested in basically.
The layout I’m using is not made by myself, it’s a free layout from Styleshout I only modified it slightly to work with wordpress. But all credit goes to Erwin Aligam from Styleshout.com.
Anyway I’ve just started out, and I don’t plan to write blog like these which are basically about nothing.. but I need to have something on the front page right?
